Wet Phone
The rice bag works, but I have known of phones that had to be left in the bag for a week. If the phone is not too wet, it can be dried with a blow dryer (after the phone has been taken apart) or may also respond to being left on top of heat emitting appliances. More ideas here:

Vertical Jumping for Basketball
Michael Jordan's vertical jumping ability wasn't just a great skill, it was a work of art. You may not be Michael Jordan, but your ability to jump high and quickly with power is critical to your success on the basketball court. How do you measure your vertical jump?
Stand facing a wall, and with arm extended and feet on the floor, make a
mark on the wall at the top of your reach. Jump vertically, making a second mark at the peak of the jump. The distance between these two marks measures the vertical leap.
A typical athlete has a vertical leap of 1 1/2 to 2 feet. You can do better. The Jump Manual can add 10 inches to your vertical jump, guaranteed. Try it free for 60 days and see for yourself.

What exactly is The Jump Manual?
The Jump Manual is an "all in one" vertical jump training software that provides you everything you need in order to achieve your maximum vertical jump and quickness. The Jump Manual is compatible with all computer platforms, Windows, Mac, Linux.
Vertical Jumping for Track and Field
You might think that everybody expects that vertical jumping improvement for track and field would be important. It should be a given. But don't think of vertical jumping in track and field as just something applies to the high jump or two hurdles. The triple jump, the long jump, and even distance races can see great improvement as vertical jumping ability improves.
Good runners, any good athletes really, constantly look for that edge, that extra something to take them to the next level. The Jump Manual can provide that edge. The Jump Manual is the most comprehensive vertical jump program available.
Vertical Jumping for Tennis
So, do you think vertical jumping is important in tennis? Federer has quite a leap. And think about Pete Sampras. Picture him at the top of the jump as he served an ace. Maybe that vertical jumping ability gave him just a little more power than his opponent. If you're interested in improving your overhead smash or even if just a little more power in your serve would serve you well, then the jump manual is for you. It will take your vertical jumping ability to a new level.
Vertical Jumping for Baseball
It might seem that vertical jumping is not critical to success in baseball. Can you run? Are you quick? Do you have good hands? How are you with the bat? These are more pertinent issues often for baseball players. But vertical jumping is a good reflection of your speed. Leg strength, and the ability to call on it in a hurry, reflect the player's ability to call on his power immediately when needed. The center fielder needs to be able to explode at the sound of the bat hitting the ball. His vertical jumping ability will have a direct impact on his response.
